Valley Poultry Assn. Names General Manager

"Board of directors of the San Joaquin Valley Poultry Producers Assn., after a careful study and many interviews, wish to announce the selection of Robert Britt Cooper as general manager of their organization.
This appointment to become effective as of November 1, 1954.
Mr. Cooper comes from Berkeley, where he has been general manager of the California Farm Supply Co. for the past year and one-half.
Mr. Cooper is a native of New York state. He was born on a dairy, poultry and fruit farm in western New York where he resided until he left for college and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1930. The next twenty odd years were spent with one of the nation's largest purchasing Cooperatives -- the Grange League Federation of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania where he progressed up through the various positions from store manager to department manager, gaining experience in retail merchandising, manufacturing and departmental operations. Before coming to California, he was Director of Research covering many phases of the cooperative field.
Mr. Cooper is married and has two sons, one 11 and one 16. His family will join him in Fresno soon."
