Marriage of Louise Tribble to Alexander Berry Credle on Dec 28, 1935. The Greenville News, Dec 31 1935, P. 5

 "The wedding was solmenized[sic] at noon at the home of the bride's parents in North Anderson in the presence of relatives and a few close friends.
...
  Mrs. Credle is a graduate of Winthrop college, where she took a prominent part in student activities. She has for the past few years been secretary at Clemson college in the extension division.
  Mr. Credle is a graduate of Cornell university, where he also received his M. A. degree. He is professor of electrical engineering at Clemson college. Mr. Credle is a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity."

"The couple came to Chapel Hill when Mr. Credle joined IBM in the Research Triangle Park. It was a homecoming of sorts - Mr. Credle is from Swan Quarter, and Mrs. Credle is from Clemson, S.C., where the two met at the University. There were a couple of stints at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., where Mr. Credle taught electrical engineering, before the Credles moved back to North Carolina."
