"Mrs. Rose Josephine Hall Martin, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 1973 ... She was born Sept. 7, 1893 in Williamstown, the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Hall, and was the widow of William A. Martin.  She had lived in Ithaca for 30 years, moving to Rossie in 1942. Since her husband's death she had lived with her children, most recently making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Meddie (Corea) Goyette, Sr., Newfield  ... Besides her daughter, she is survived by seven sons; Lorenzo Martin of Rossie; Roderick Martin of Spencer; Larry Martin of Richville, Wallace Martin of Dryden; Winfred Martin of Redwood, Jack Martin of Ithaca; and Marshall Martin of W. Danby ..."
