Obituary for Lillian Louise Parker
The Ithaca Journal, Nov 24 2000, P. 4, Cols. 5-6.

"TRUMANSBURG--Lillian Louise Parker of 18 Salo Drive, Trumansburg passed away at the Cayuga Medical Cente on Wednesday. November 22, 2000 at the age of 72.
Born on May 18, 1928 in Dryden, New York, Lillian was a daughter of Asa and Myrtle Smith Bailey. She was truly a family oriented person with a deep love of children. Even though Lillian never had children the assistance given to her sisters with the care of their children was heartwarming. (Many of them consider her their second mom.) Lillian also cared for other children within her home for many years.
Lillian had been active in the Jacksonville Community Church before her automobile accident in 1997.
Preceding Lillian in death were 2 brothers, Robert and Albert Bailey, 3 sisters, Ruth Starks, Annabelle Fuller and Edith Beach and her devoted husband Robert E. Parker who died on November 30, 1997. She is survived by one stepson, Richard E. (Mary) Parker of Jacksonville: 2 step-daughters, Mary l. (Ronald) Poyer of Ithaca and Evelyn M. Baker of Trumansburg: 10 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, William (Ellen) Bailey of Dundee and George Edward (Corey) Bailey of San Antonio, TX and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg on Saturday, November 25, 2000 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Robert N. Lovelace officiating. Interment will be in the Grove Cemetery."
