"Mrs. Esther Young Warren, 47, of 1006 Hanshaw Rd., died unexpectedly early today, Sept. 10, 1954, in Memorial Hospital.

A graduate of the Class of 1929, College of Home Economics at Cornell, she was a past president of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and active in its alumnae association and in Home Economics Alumnae Association and was also a member of the Heights Home Bureau.

She is survived by her husband, Prof. Stanley Warren; four daughters, Alice, Ruth, Martha and Jean Warren; a son, John Warren; her mother, Mrs. E. H. Rider of Unadilla; two brothers, Sheldon Young of Carthage and Arthur Young of Huntington, L.I.; her stepfather, Edwin H. Rider of Unadilla and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Forest Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph N. Helverson officiating."
