"Eddie Duane Poyer, 85, died today, July 19, 1971, of an apparent heart attack at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edna Swansbrough of Perry City Rd., with whom he lived. He was born Nov. 4, 1885, in Town of Enfield, son of the late Isiah and Mary Jane Purdy Poyer ... His late wife was Phoebe Protts Poyer."
