Ithaca Daily Journal, July 5, 1904, page 6: “Barnabas Genung died June 25th at Brookton, aged 71 years, of paralysis. He was a life long resident of that place. He is survived by four children, Sarah Walley, Susan Downing, Marilda and Richard Genung, and three brothers, Harrison Genung, of Freeville, Enos, of Waverly, and Chauncey Genung, of Cortland.”
