"SENECA. March 23. -- Farmer seems to be the mecca on those on matrimony intent.
Francis A. Stone and Miss Emma Rolfe, of Jacksonville, Tompkins county, visited the Reformed parsonage on Tuesday and were united in marriage by Rev. E. B. Van Arsdale."

Note: Farmer was an earlier name for Interlaken, used before the village of Interlaken was incorporated in 1904.  See The Land Between The Lakes by Bill Gates, Interlaken Historical Society.

Obituary for Frank Adams Stone
The Ithaca Journal, Apr 3 1940, P. 2, Col. 4.

"Frank Adams Stone, 80, a lifelong resident of Enfield, died at his home Tuesday afternoon, Apr. 2, 1940, after a long illness.
  Besides his widow, Mrs. Emma Stone, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Ramsey of Enfield, and two sons, Albert of Enfield and Howard Stone of Brooktondale.
  Funeral services will be held at the family home at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Luman Cockerill, pastor of the Enfleld Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Hayts Cemetery."
