“…Frank D. Woodford was born in Danby, October 14, 1847, at the family home. He entered Cornell University in 1868 in the science course and left in 1871. He became a school teacher and was principal for a number of years of the Setauket Union School on Long Island, and later of the Trumansburg-Union School. For the past fourteen years, Mr. Woodford has been in the insurance business. For six years he was with the Mutual Life Insurance Company and for the past eight years he has been the genera; agent for the Manhattan Life Insurance Company. 
Besides his wife, Mary A. Woodford, he is survived by three children Eloise, John R., and Fred A. Woodford.”
