"James E. Van Dermark, aged seventy-three years, of Caroline, died yesterday. The funeral will be held at...the Congregational Church in Brookton.... Internment will be in the Quick Cemetery.
The decedent is survived by hs widow, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Bacon of Brookton, Mrs. Milton Gorsline and Mrs. Clarence Kinsman, both of Ithaca; two sons, L.S. of Ithaca, and M.T. of Brookton; three brothers, Hiram, Valentine and Justus, all of Brookton; one sister, Mrs. B.B. Johnson, of Brookton."
