Beryl Cushman (née Cheney) and Harry A. MacDonald were both in Ithaca for the 1950 census and lived most of their lives after that in the neighborhood.
An obituary for Beryl Cushman in May 5 1998 reveals that she was married to Harold R. Cushman for 24 yrs and later to Harry A. MacDonald for 17 years. Among the survivors mentioned were two stepsons, Alan F. MacDonald of Cortland, and Bruce D. MacDonald of Boise, Id. [1]
Checking for MacDonald in the 1950 census found a Harry MacDonald with sons Alan and Bruce.
His obituary from 1993 mentions that he was survived by his wife, Beryl C. MacDonald and by three of her children, as well as by his own sons Alan and Bruce. [2]
