"George Allhusen, 99, of Aurelius, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Auburn Community Hospital. George was born in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of the late George and Edna (Winans) Allhusen. He received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and made a career specializing in farm management. He was previously employed with Beacon Milling Company and Farm Credit Service and retired from Cornell Cooperative Extension. Following his retirement, he managed and operated his own consulting business, Allhusen Small Business.

He is survived by his three children, Sharon (Henry) Cummings, Chris (Rick) Chalupnicki and Gary (Virginia) Allhusen, a son -in- law Paul Tavener, and was blessed by 32 wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grands. In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (Filkins) Allhusen on June 27, 2006, their daughter Donna Tavener and his siblings, Alice Lima and Donald Allhusen, a grandchild and a great grandchild."
