Obituaries for Harrison S. Williams

The Rock Island Argus [Rock Island, Illinois], Dec 7 1970, P. 5, Col. 5.
 "Harrison S. Williams, 96, of 1641 28th Ave., Moline, died last night in Comfort Harbor Rest Home, Mian[sic].
  A prayer service will be at 7 tonight at the Trimble Funeral Home. The body then will be taken to Pawling, N.Y., to the Horn & Thomes Funeral Home for services. Burial will be in Poughquag Cemetery, in Poughquag, N.Y.
  Mr. Williams was born in Poughquag. He married Sarah E. Kissam April 1909. She died in 1956. He had been a farmer. He came to this area some three years ago.
  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. W. Smith of Moline; three sons, George K. of Marietta, Ga., Sheldon W. in India, Robert G. of Roslindale, Mass.; 15 grandchildren."

"Harrison S. Williams, 96, of 1641 28th Ave., Moline, Ill., died in a rest home in Milan, Ill., on Sunday, Dec. 6, 1970. He lived at 320 Forest Home Drive in Ithaca from 1927 to 1963. He was born and spent his boyhood in Poughquag in Dutchess County and was a retired farmer. His wife, Sarah E. Kissam Williams, died in 1956.
  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. W. Smith of Moline; three sons, George K. of Marietta, Ga., Sheldon W. in India and Robert G. Williams of Roslindale, Mass.; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held in Moline, III. Burial was in Poughquag."
