Obituary for Ralph E. Christie

"The funeral of Ralph Everett Christie, 70, of Dryden Rd. who died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1964, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Lloyd Moffet of Forest Home Chapel.
Mr. Christie died as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Kansas on Tuesday. He was born in Shrewsbury, Mass. on July 2, 1894, son of the late John and Annie Storey Christie. He has lived at Varna for 42 years and retired as superintendent of Cornell test gardens in 1954. He served in France with the U.S. Army during World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Pratt Christie: a daughter, Mrs. Eugene C. Kenyon of Coronada, Cal.; two grandchildren, Stephen and Christie Anne Kenyon of Coronada, Cal.; three brothers, Harry of Worcester and Walter of Westboro, Mass. and Chester Christie in Maine: three sisters, Mrs. Anne Stone of Milton, Mass., Mrs. Mabel Whittemore of Wellesly, Mass. and Mrs. Alice DeLage, Carisbad, Cal."
