"Dr. Edward Flemmon Hall, 84, of 121 W. Court St., died in Tompkins Community Hospital, Friday, March 26, 1982. He was a prominent obstetrician and gynecologist. He had practiced medicine in Ithaca since 1932.
He served as a second lieutenant in the Army during World War I. Dr. Hall received the B.A. degree from Cornell University in 1924, where he studied mechanical engineering and arts and sciences. He received the M.D. degree from Cornell Medical School in 1928. He interned at Bellevue Hospital in New York.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Closs Hall at home; a son, Edward F. Hall III of Blountville, Tenn.; two daughters: Alice A. Zidek of Coronado, Calif. and Evelyn F. Tracy of El Paso, Texas."
