Obituary for John H. Williams (1918-2003)

"ITHACA -- John H. Williams, age 84, of 929 East Shore Dr., Ithaca passed away at the Cayuga Medical Center on Saturday, January 11, 2003.
Born on July 1, 1918 in Delhi, New York, he was the son of Herman and Sarah Hudson Williams. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II who served in the European Theatre of Operations. Mr. Williams was employed by Cornell University for over 30 years, retiring in 1983.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife Eva M. Williams in 1990. He is survived by a son, John Murray of Interlaken, several grandchildren and a niece.
In keeping with Mr. Williams' wishes, no public calling hours have been scheduled.
A Committal Service, at the Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg, will be scheduled and announced at a later date."
