Marriage of Jessie Parker to Russel S. Damp
The Ithaca Journal, Jul 15 1935, P. 4, Col. 6.

 "Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Jessie Parker, daughter of George Wilson Parker of 402 South Albany Street, to Russel S. Damp, son of Mrs. Winifred Damp of 123 Farm Street. The ceremony was performed Sunday morning, July 14, at the chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Owego.
  The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. J. Lowell Wright of Owego.
  After a wedding breakfast, Mr. and Mrs. Damp left on a trip to New York City and New England States."

Obituary for Russell Slater Damp
The Ithaca Journal, Jul 29 1961, P. 3, Col. 1. 

"Russell Slater Damp, 56, of 230 Ridgedale Rd., died Friday, July 28, 1961, in Tompkins County Hospital.
  He was administrative assistant in the business office of the State College of Agriculture, Cornell University. He was a member of Spencer Lodge 290, F&A Masons, and of the St. John's Episcopal Church.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Parker Damp; a son, George Edward Damp; his mother, Mrs. Winifred Wright of Ithaca; an uncle; and an aunt.
  Private services will be held in the chapel of St. John's Episcopal Church at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Warren E Traub officiating.
  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Spencer. Arrangements are by Wagner Funeral Home."
