Obituary for Catherine Almeda Roat

"Mrs. Catherine Almeda Roat, 84, of 317 W. Seneca St., died at the Gibbs Nursing Home, N. Triphammer Rd., Monday, Aug. 9, 1943.
She is survived by three step-daughters, Mrs. Lela Allen, Mrs. Clara Bartholf and Miss Leona Roat, all of Ithaca; also one grandson and three granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at the Baldwin-Davis Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St., at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Joseph N. Stowell, Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Roat was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Kline Mothers Club."
