"Tool, Machine Corp. Auction Set.

Townsend Tool & Machine Corp., 110 W. Green St., has closed, and its manufacturing equipment will be sold at public auction at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14.

Established here in 1942, the industry at one time employed 90 men and women and operated day and night.
