  "John Henry Bard, 36, of 420 Cascadilla St. died in Tompkins County Hospital on Tuesday, May 4, 1971 after a long illbess. He was a member of thef North Side House Club. He was the son of Mrs. Maude Douglas of Ithaca and the late Raymond Matthew Bard.
  In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Raymond J. Bard and sister, Mrs. Mary J. Smith, both of Ithaca, nieces and nephews.
  Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Herson Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Calvery Cemetery."
