“John J. Brock, aged 86 years, died at 12 o’clock last night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Edgar Cummings, of 523 South Albany street, after a long illness.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Haskins, of Canandaigua; Mrs. Edward Cummings, of this city; and two sons, Frank T., and Edward, both of Ithaca. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 12 o’clock at the residence of the daughter on South Albany street, the Rev. R. T. Jones officiating. Interment in the Danby Rural cemetery, the Rev. B. F. Tobey officiating."
