"Freeville -- Leon William (Bill) Johnson Sr., of 482 Sheldon Rd. died Thursday, Jan. 6, 1972.
The son of the late Charles Phillip Johnson, he was born October. 13, 1908, in Madison County.
He is survived by a son, Leo Johnson Jr. of Rochester, two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Antrum of Ithaca and Mrs. Gwenda Powell of San Antonio, Texas; 11 grandchildren, four brothers, George of Freevills, Jacob of Canastota, Albert of Ithaca, and Richard of Chicago, Ill; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Robbins of Brooktondale and Mrs. Mildred Hubbard of Ithaca.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Louis Cunningham, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Herson Funeral Home."
