"Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Seth Savage announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Gene, to Rowland Allen Wells, grandson of Mrs. Gardner F. Wells, of Westport, Conn., on Friday, July 18, 1941, in Raymond, Me.
Mrs. Wells spent her freshman year at Leland Stanford University and was graduated from Cornell in 1940. She is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Mr. Wells prepared at Proctor Academy, Andover, N. H., and was graduated from Cornell in 1941,
After Oct. 1, Mr. and Mrs. Wells will live in Aiken, S. C., where Mr. Wells will teach in the Aiken Preparatory School."

Mrs. Kyle is also the daughter of the late Prof. Elmer Seth Savage of Cornell University.
Professor Kyle is on the faculty of the School of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering at Cornell.
