Marriage of Clara A. Lane to H. Clifford Heidt on March 23, 1946.
The Ithaca Journal, Mar 25 1946, P. 4, top of Col. 8

"Miss Clara A. Lane of Willow Point, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lane, became the bride of H. Clifford Heidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Heidt Jr. of 327 S. Albany St., at 3 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 23, 1946.
  The ceremony was performed a St. John's Episcopal Church by the rector, the Rev. R. E. Charles.
  The bride wore an aqua suit with a pale pink blouse. Her corsage was white roses.
  Miss Marjorie Lane, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Her costume was a melon-colored suit with white blouse, brown hat and brown accessories, and a corsage of Talisman roses.
  Arthur H. Carver, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man.
  A reception was held at the bride's home.
  Mr. Heidt is a linotype machinist at The Ithaca Journal.
  After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Heidt will reside at Willow Point."

"Marjorie Lane Heidt passed away Friday, June 16, 1995 at the University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Heidt had been a patient there for seven weeks.
  Mrs. Heidt, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lane was born April 9, 1913 in Ithaca, NY. She graduated from Ithaca High in 1931. She was married to Cliff Heidt, Perry City Road, Trumansburg.
  Mrs. Heidt was a life long horse enthusiast and enjoyed both owning and riding. Combining her interests of art and photography, Mrs. Heidt took pleasure in painting oil portraits of her friend's horses. She was a charter member of the NYS State Arabian Horse Association.
  Mrs. Heidt is survived by husband, Cliff, her niece Bette Jackson of Rochester and nephews Alan Lane of Lockport and Howard Lane of Rochester."
