"Thomas Allen, colored, died last night at 11 o'clock at his home, No,. 508 Utica street. He was born in Rochester 47 years ago and had lived in this city for the past 28 years. He had been ill for two months. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rachel Allen, and a brother, John H. Allen. The funeral will occur Wednesday at his late residence at 2 p.m."
