"Divorce Decree Granted

An absolute divorce was granted by Supreme Court Justice Riley H. Heath May 8, to Thelma Barringer Sheheen, plaintiff, against James Harry Sheheen, defendant, both of Ithaca. The plaintiff will retain the use of her maiden name."

"Keeps Wedding Secret Three Months After Double Ceremony

A double wedding was revealed today with the announcement of the marriage of Miss Thelma Barringer [sic], daughter of Mrs. Imogene Barringer, of 435 West State street, to James Harvey Sheheen of 422 South Titus avenue, after having been kept a secret for nearly three months."
