Helen F. Moore married Robert H. Ogle, one of the seven founders of Alpha Phi Alpha, the oldest African American fraternity in existence. They had two daughters, Helen and Mary Ogle.

  "Mrs. Helen Moore Ogle, age 21 years, wife of Robert H. Ogle, died Saturday, Oct. 3, at 5:40 o'clock after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mary Ellen, and Helen Irene and her mother, Irene C. Moore.
  Before her marriage, Mrs. Ogle was Helen Freeman Moore. She had lived in Ithaca all her life.
  The funeral will be helf from the residence, 213 South Plain Street at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday, October 6th. Burial will be made in Lake View Cemetery."
