"The death of Hugh McGrade, a well-known resident of this city, occurred on Sunday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Thomas Malone, 305 Auburn street, after an illness of three weeks. He was a cooper by trade. A native of New York City, where he was born 43 years ago, coming to Ithaca with his parents when he was three years old. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 1:30[sic] from the house and at 2 from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will occur at the East State street cemetery."
