"William J. Pyle and Raymond S. June, two cinematographers with the Wharton, Inc., of this city, will leave tonight for Madison Barracks where they will enter the U.S. Aerial Photography School....Pyle has been a camera man with the Whartons for three and a half years while June has been employed for four years."

"William J. (Billl) Pyle, 75, of 101 Linn St. died there Saturday, Sept. 28, 1968. He was a photographer.
At one time, he was an employe of the Wharton Studios when that firm made motion pictures here. He was a projector operator for a number of years at the Cornell Theater and others of the area.
Mr. Pyle...was a photographer in the Army during World War I and was a member of the American Legion."
