"He [Paulo E. Perez] is a former student of Cornell University and Mrs. Perez, formerly Miss Maud Grant of Ithaca, with their two children is now residing here. He will leave next week for Havana where he is to be secretary to the Administration of the United Railroads of Havana.
Mr. Perez comes of one of the leading families of Costa Rica, His father, P. Perez-Zeledon, has been ambassador extraordinary to many of the courts of Europe and also to the government at Washington. At present he is leader of the opposition in the Costa Rica congress."
