    No house number on census. Indication of street by enumerator is "East Lake Road going north." Listed in the alphabetic section of the 1949 through 1956 Ithaca City Directory as "Heidt Harry C (Claire) linotype mach IJ res Willow Point RD1." "IJ" probably stands for Ithaca Journal. [Note: Willow Point is the name given to a section of Lake Road (later East Shore Drive). House numbers on East Shore Dr in 2025 that correspond to Willow Point run approximately from 1002 to 1137 and 1138, which are at the border between the Town of Ithaca and the Town of Lansing. The area north of that, in the Town of Lansing, is sometimes called McKinneys.] The house in which Harry Clifford Heidt and his wife Clara née Lane were recorded in the 1950 census will have been a house Clara and her sister Marjorie inherited in 1948 [see BF133647-001 DEED in Tompkins County Clerks Office Online Service.]. The lot had three residential structures and primary address of 1050 East Shore Drive once Lake Road was renamed East Shore Drive and house numbers were assigned.
