Notes
John and Virginia Ross are in the 1949 and 1951 Ithaca City directories in the neighborhood but not on Hanshaw Rd. In 1949 ICD they are on McIntyre Pl in Forest Home; in 1951 ICD they are at 107 Maple Ave. In September 1950, John and Virginia Ross bought 107 Maple from Pauline Moore. The deed (BF138677-001) gives their address as 1303 Hanshaw. Also in September 1950, John and Virginia Ross sold the house on Hanshaw (deed BF138730-001) to Erik Karl Henriksen and his wife. In August 1953, when the Henriksens sold the house, it was described in the deed (BF142720-001) as "now known as 1207 Hanshaw Rd." In 1953, when Cayuga Heights Village was expanded, many houses on Hanshaw Rd east of Community Corners (aka Corners Community) in Cayuga Heights were renumbered.
