- NotesNo house number on census. Street indicated on census is Hanshaw Road. The 1940 Ithaca City Directory lists him as "Hicks Raymond W (Alice H) v-prin JHS h Hanshaw rd byd Highgate rd RD1" in the Alphabetid Directory. In the Street Directory, he is on Hanshaw Drive (listed going north) the only entry positioned after Highgate Road leaves on the left and before The Parkway crosses. Based on the Tompkins County Dept. of Assessment Beacon database portal, the only houses in that location that existed in 1940 are those that now have house number 606 and 608 Hanshaw Rd. The Hicks bought the lot that is now 608 in 1935 [Conveyance deed BF098866-001] which refers to Lot 5 in subdivision map for "Hampton Terrace" [Map BF023776-001].
