    Address on census is implicitly 17 N Aurora but without a relationship to the head of household. Listed as "Allen William H., barber, room 3, Bates Block, b. Martin House." in 1880 Ithaca city directory. Martin House was in ED 235 at 15 and 17 S Aurora [see https://www.historyforge.net/census/1880/2956 for proprietor Charles A Bush]. William Allen was not enumerated there. 17 N Aurora is opposite the Bates Block which spanned 18-24 N Aurora in 1880 (118-124 after 1899 renumbering).
