Wikipedia: James Law Hall was Cornell's original Veterinary school. It was built ca. 1896 and demolished to make room for Ives Hall.  Its address in the 1953 Ithaca City Directory (ICD) was 23 East Ave. This address was described as vacant in the 1958 ICD, in which the new veterinary building on E Tower Rd was listed.
