112-114 North Aurora St. Historic name: Kline’s Pharmacy

"Two-story, double-width, red brick commercial building; altered street-level facade (2003) has one storefront with eight large arched display windows and a central recessed entrance surmounted by a full-width overhanging sign supported by two gold painted cast iron consoles; upper story retains two sets of three rectangular ribbon windows with arched, brick transoms and historic one-over-one sash; cornice has carved wooden brackets supporting a pent roof (originally clad in clay S-tiles). Early twentieth century remodeling of upper stories of building is largely intact. Built ca.1872; facade added 1919; storefront alterations 2003.
Historical note: Originally two buildings (ca. 1872), a facade addition built in 1919 united the buildings. Kline’s Pharmacy occupied the street-level facade for over sixty years."
