1922

“A $37,000 fire-proof, concrete and steel Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority House will be erected from the ruins of the old at 508 Thurston Avenue by March 1, according to C. C. Tallman, Ithaca architect.
Rising three stories and containing 22 rooms of modern design, its high walled living room will measure 17 feet by 28 feet, opening into a spacious music room. A suite for chaperones will also be included.
A.H. McPherson and Son, who will do the building, are now in the second week of wrecking the old wooden house.”
