The city renumbered its streets in 1899 using the hundred block system (see Crandall 1899 City Engineering Map).

Shingle roof on main block of building, 1-story section with shingle roof on east side with a 1-story open porch with metal or slate roof behind it, 1-story section with shingle roof on north (back) side with a 1-story section with metal or slate roof behind it on the north side.  508 1/2 is a 2-story frame outbuilding with a shingled (hip?) roof and a 1-story section with a shingle roof on its east side.
