"The foundations having been completed, work will be started on the construction of the new four-story commercial and apartment building on West State street for A.J. Quick, shoe merchant, within a few days. Clarence J. Swartwood, contractor for the new building, said this morning that the material has arrived and the work would be started either today or tomorrow. The building when completed will accommodate nine families with two store fronts on the ground floor of which Mr. Quick will occupy one side. It is expected that the building will be completed about the latter part of July. The entire cost is estimated at $50,000."
