109 North Cayuga St.

"Three-story, six-bay, Greek Revival brick building; street-level facade has two display window storefronts with walk-up entrances (remodeled late twentieth century); upper stories retain rectangular windows with stone lintels and sills and non-historic two-over-two sash that probably replaced six-over-six; deep frieze retains eyebrow windows with iron grilles; entablature with prominent dentils and simple brick coursing. Built 1840-1850.

Historical note: Originally a hotel and restaurant, this building has housed saloons, the Union Hotel, the Victoria Hotel, and the Ithaca Times offices. The second story has a full-length cast iron balcony."
