Cliff Place only exists in the 1898-99 and 1899 city directories with only one house listed on it occupied by the Toner family
Peter Toner, Gardener is listed at Cliff Pl William 1898 99 cd
Margaret Toner is listed at 118 Cliff Pl, William 1899 cd
According to the 1899 cd Cliff Place is located from Williams Street, North. The only streets going north from Williams Street on the 1898 and 1910 Sanborn Maps are Highland Place and Cascadilla Place.
The 1899 Crandall Map (Sheet 16) offers a clue, it appears that Highland Place was not a connected semi-circle as it is now, but one street with the eastern end possibly to be developed as a second (unnamed) street to go over Cascadilla Creek and connect to West Ave at some point soon after though the city decided to connect both ends making it all Highland Place.
We have located this building accordingly though we are not 100% sure this is where It should be located.
