“Mrs. Ida L. McWhorter’s colonial apartment house at the corner of Linn and Farm streets, which has just been completed, was illuminated and thrown open for inspection last evening from 5 until 10 o’clock. A large number of people called during that time and looked through the edifice. The house comprises three residences, two of which contain eight rooms and the third ten rooms. The plans were made by the successful architect, W. A. Greenwalt, and it is needless to say that for convenience of arrangement as well as in the matter of appearance, the house is all that can be desired in a modern tenement. The carpentry was done by S. B. Knettles, the masonry by E. J. Moore, the plumbing by Jamieson & McKinney, the painting and decorating by W. B. Miller, and the shades were supplied by Warner.”
