“A northside Ithaca landmark that had stood for more than a hundred years, and two adjacent buildings, burned to the ground in a matter of hours Monday evening, filling downtown with smoke and setting the night sky aglow.
Only one firefighter was slightly injured in the fire that destroyed the apartment building housing the GreenStar Co-op Market and the Busy Bee Restaurant and two adjacent houses, at 105-107 Farm St. and 431 N Cayuga St., on the west end of the block bounded by Farm, Cascadilla and Cayuga streets.”
