Presented by Mrs. Emma Taylor Merrel and Mrs. G. C. Embody. This house was built by the Giles Bros (circa 1840) and was arranged for two families. There was a common stair landing in the center of the structure but otherwise there were two distinct parts divided by an east and west partition.
