This house appears on the 1866 map of Ithaca with G. Tyler listed as owner. No G. Tyler appears in either the 1860 nor the 1870 census, so the initial is probably incorrect. The property on the southwest corner of S. Plain and Wheat was owned by Zachariah Tyler and his family.
