Year built 1860 from Tompkins County Department of Assessment.
1910 Sanborn: Main block of house is 2 stories, wood frame, with a shingle roof and a 1-story wood frame open porch with a composition roof across the front (north). To the back (south) side of the main block are multiple 1-story wood frame sections, including one with a metal or slate roof that stretches across and to the east beyond the main block of the house, forming the center of the house, with a very small 1-story shingle roof section on the northeast side, alongside the main block but slightly separated from it. To the back of the center section are three smaller 1-story wood frame sections, with metal or slate roofs on the west and center sections and a composition roof on the east section. There is a small 1-story wood frame outbuilding with a shingle roof at the back (south) lot line that extends east into the lot for #411 Buffalo Street [possibly suggesting that the outbuilding was built before the two lots were divided?]
