This house was built for Samuel H. Winton in 1874-1875. It was bought by the City Federation of Women's Clubs in 1920 and was demolished in 1959 for the new Women's Community Building. See Mary Tomlan, "Women's site packed with history," Ithaca Journal, April 28, 2012, 5.
