The first directory listing after 1950 that included Edward B. Harris on what was Lake Road in 1950 was the alphabetic section of the 1954 Ithaca City Directory. The listing was "Harris, Edward B (Dorothy E) opr City Sewer Dept h985 E Shore dr." 985 East Shore Dr is not a valid address in 2025. The residence was probably demolished no later than 1999, when Cornell built its Lake Source Cooling facility at 983 East Shore Drive.
