Description
The house is a corner lot at the intersection of Hanshaw Rd and Cayuga Heights Rd. Ithaca City Directories used 102 Hanshaw Rd as the address for the Blanche family from 1941 through 1953.  However, the family used the address 301 Cayuga Heights Rd when announcing events in the Ithaca Journal throughout the 1940s.  The Tompkins County Department of Assessment indicates that the Cayuga Heights Rd address has been used officially for sales deeds since at least 1961.
