Road at right was known as Town Line Rd, between Towns of Ithaca and Dryden. Buildings in Town of Ithaca, on west side of Sapsucker Woods Rd (formerly Town Line Rd), were demolished for development of 15 residential buildings by Rocco Lucente as proposed in 1967.

Quote from decision delivered by Supreme Court of New York Justice Frederick B. Bryant :
 
  "In June 1967, the defendant submitted a proposed plan to erect fifteen (15) two-family dwellings on the lots along Sapsucker Woods Rd. He was not asked and he did not volunteer any information as to floor plans or proposed use. The proposal was approved and building permits properly issued. Construction continued to the point that the buildings on Lots No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 were substantially completed in February, 1968."
